I am a self taught watercolour, acrylic and digital artist, living on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of British Columbia.
I enjoy the process of using my watercolour paintings to design a card from beginning to end.
My featured collection includes a selection of birthday, congratulations, Mother’s Day, and what I like to call “empathy” cards. At a time when there are many reasons to want to alleviate one’s feelings of pain, it is important to acknowledge that empathy is fundamentally challenged.
With an illness or trying time comes a desire by people to want to alleviate the feelings of fear, stress, and anxiety these bring. I know this as a 12-year cancer survivor. However, they also don’t want an average, run-of-the-mill card to convey their feelings. Sometimes, simplicity is best.
These beautiful cards will fill that need, with understated, simple messages.
